New genetic test for predicting obesity from early childhood

Scientists have developed a genetic score to predict obesity risk from early childhood, potentially allowing for earlier and more effective interventions.

New research led by the Universities of Copenhagen and Bristol shows analysing genes at a young age might support early strategies to prevent obesity developing later in life.
