15 May: 5th National GI Dietetic Symposium: Sheffield
The 5th National GI Dietetic Symposium takes place at the Crowne Plaza Royal Victoria Hotel in Sheffield, bringing together nationally and internationally recognised speakers to share hot topics and examples of best practice in GI dietetics. This free, dietitian-led event is open to all with an interest in GI practice and will be available in person and online, with in-person attendance encouraged for the full networking experience.
15 May: Optimising Health in Later Life: A Multi-Disciplinary Approach, Bristol
A one-day hybrid NCIM conference will bring together healthcare professionals to explore evidence-based strategies for supporting healthy ageing. The programme spans nutrition, exercise, social prescribing and chronic disease management, offering practical, CPD-accredited insights to help people not only live longer, but live better.
20–21 May: The Primary Care Show: Birmingham
A conference programme packed with best practice insights and practical support strategies to help primary care teams meet service demands, improve patient care and support staff across general practice and wider primary care. The second day will see specific sessions focusing on nutrition/dietetics and the assessment, diagnosis and management of diet-related health and conditions.
26 May: Introduction to Nutrition in Cancer: Virtual
Facilitated by Vicky Nelson and Sarah Richards, this virtual interactive day course has links with The Macmillan Allied Health Professions Competence Framework and is for those working with people affected by cancer. It aims to increase the knowledge and skills in the nutritional care of adults living with and beyond cancer.
