Calling all aspiring student writers!

We are currently looking for student writers to contribute paid articles to the student articles section of the NHD Student Hub.

More information and how to pitch your ideas:

The target audience is dietetics and nutrition students like yourself. The word count for each article is up to 1000 words, and payment is £50.

To avoid pitching something that’s been published recently, you can check what’s been covered before on the student articles webpage and in the student articles archive. If you wish to write on a topic that has been touched on recently, make sure to pitch a new angle.

Below are some example articles from last year's student writers:

Eligibility

To write for the Student Hub, you must be a dietetics, nutrition or public health student. You must also be signed up for the NHD student subscription (it won’t cost you anything) and follow the originality and AI policy below.

Originality and AI policy

AI may be used as an assistive tool only, not as a substitute for expertise, critical thinking or original writing. All content must ultimately reflect the author’s own research, knowledge and any clinical experience. AI detection tools may be used and content submitted that violates our policy will not be published

Please pitch up to three article ideas to [email protected] by 20th February 2026. Don't hesitate to get in touch if you have any questions.
